Happy World School Milk Day 2024! 🥛✨ Today, we’re celebrating the role milk plays in helping children grow strong and healthy, while shining a spotlight on the amazing creativity we’ve seen in this year’s competitions. From colourful milk carton designs to fun and playful milk moments, we’ve been overwhelmed by the enthusiasm and participation from schools and families across the country.
This year’s competitions have been a huge success! We’re excited to share the winners of our Schools Milk Carton Design Competition and Parent Cool Milk Moment Competition. But before we dive into the winners, let’s take a moment to recognise the importance of World School Milk Day.
Why World School Milk Day Matters
World School Milk Day, celebrated annually, is all about promoting the nutritional benefits of milk for children. Milk is packed with essential nutrients like calcium, protein, and vitamins, making it a key part of a child’s balanced diet. Not only is milk a great source of hydration, but it also supports bone development, energy levels, and overall well-being. By engaging children in fun activities like our competitions, we’re helping to reinforce healthy habits in an exciting and memorable way!
Announcing Our Competition Winners 🎉
After receiving an incredible number of entries from schools and from parents, it’s time to reveal the winners! The creativity and effort put into each submission truly made it difficult for us to choose, but here are the standout entries:
🏫 Schools Competition Winner: Drapers’ Maylands Primary School
Drapers’ Maylands Primary School took the top prize with their imaginative and vibrant milk carton design created by Amelia! Their winning entry featured a cheerful cow in a green pasture, beautifully capturing the essence of milk’s farm-to-table journey. Amelia’s attention to detail and bright colours made the design both eye-catching and meaningful, reminding us of the natural source of milk and its importance in daily life. We’re thrilled to award them a visit from an Olympic athlete! 🏅
We can’t wait to see the smiles on their faces when they meet the athlete and learn about the importance of health, fitness, and nutrition firsthand.
👨👩👧👦 Parent Competition Winner: Candice and Family
Congratulations to Candice and her family! 🎉 Their entry featured an incredibly fun and creative photo of Candice’s daughter enjoying her milk while rocking cool homemade Cool Milk glasses. 😎🥛 We absolutely loved the creativity and spirit they brought to the competition!
For their efforts, Candice and family will be receiving a £500 Buyagift voucher, which they can use for exciting family experiences! 🌟
